Was visiting my daughter and she had a 500.00 espresso machine. I fell in love! Immediately went on Amazon and began researching espresso machines. I didn’t think I needed to spend 500 so I found this for 300.It works. It makes a nice cappuccino or latte. Just doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the 500.$ machine. Not sure the frother is as powerful as my daughters, used whole milk as suggested and it didn’t froth quite as well as hers does. But good enough for a 200$ savings!

The espresso machine is cool but it takes some work. It needs to have water ran through a few times before using to make sure everything is clean, which is understandable. I studied up on what to use to make the espresso and here is what I came away with….you can buy beans that say espresso which are more expensive than coffee but it seems that it is essentially just dark roast coffee. So, after trying both, I’ve decided the dark roast coffee is cheaper and tastes the same. It needs to be finely ground which I do in a bean grinder.In the end, it just seems like more work than I expected which is why I gave four stars. But, comparing other machines it is a good price.

Our friend is a coffee guru! They have a cute little coffee bar and w/ their birthday coming up we got them this little gift to upgrade their coffee bar. They absolutely love it! We did have to do one exchange because the first one was faulty. The company was great and sent a replacement! Customer service was great to work with and the second one has no faults.
