This toaster replaced a 15 year old Delonghi 4-slice toaster in our kitchen. We were looking for something that would toast bread, waffles, and bagels. The Gevi is a good basic toaster without too many bells and whistles. It easily accommodates large items like bagels, toasts quickly, and the temperature control requires only a bit of tweaking for different breads. The Gevi toaster is stylish but feels relatively lightweight in its construction. It’s long-term reliability remains to be seen. Amazon’s web site states that the toaster comes with a “TWO-YEAR Promise” which I assumed to mean a two-year warranty. However, the shipping materials say that there is only a one-year warranty. Hopefully, I won’t have to make use of whatever length warranty is in effect.

It’s not… horrible. It does grind. When it actually turns on. Seems the on/off button kinda works when it wants. We grind 2 cups of expresso a day, dont forget to clean it after or it gets clogged up the next time and gives an uneven amount. But it does grind, I mean, its a grinder… easier than doing it by hand, I guess

Was frustrated at first with this grinder till I figured out that the buttons really did not need to be pressed, but finger needed to be held over button a few seconds to turn on machine and not to load the hopper too much or the beans would fail to flow to the grinder. After the little learning curve I am more than happy with this purchase.

It’s a good little toaster, pretty basic. You put bread in the slots and few minutes later out comes toast. No fancy LED’s, no special buttons, just a toaster (which is what we wanted). The quality is reasonable, it’s good looking, a bit retro perhaps. The slots will take a normal, bought from the store loaf of bread slice, but we make our own bread and it is longer than normal store-bought bread so I have to do the bottom, then flip it, and do the top. They are wide enough to take Einstein’s bagels, which is good, too. We like it and it does the job.

I’m kind of giving up my belief in Amazon reviews. I did extensive research for an espresso maker that was affordable. The product arrived on time. I was unable to get frother to work. The unit sat on my counter for 2 days and leaked all the water from the reservoir. Huge mess. Sending it back.
