I bought this machine because we had rented an Airbnb for a couple of months and we missed our daily espressos. I was pleasantly surprise by the quality of the coffee from this machine (We used the same capsules as we do at home, Illy Cafe compatible capsules) and the quality of this machine. A great value and same performance as the original Nespresso high end machine we have at home.Very satisfied with this purchase and it made our vacation very enjoyable.

This is the second Mixpresso I’ve purchased. I bought the first one (red) and liked it so much I bought a second Mixpresso (black) for our lake homeBoth machines came very well packaged. Definitely not frustration-free packing bit it certainly did the job. The set up was quick and easy for the first machine. No issues whatsoever, even for a novice. The one I bought for our lake house was a bit of an issue. It’s an old lake cabin and has only two prong outlets. So it required a three prong adapter (we have proper grounding) and we plan on upgrading to a proper three prong outlet soon. That glitch isn’t Mixpresso’s fault but be advised, it does require a three prong outlet.I haven’t had any issues with the machine properly accepting a variety of Nespresso capsules . They all have loaded properly first try and delivered good espresso. I would say that the black model seems to drip, drip, drip longer than the red. I’m patient. The black model seems a bit quieter than the red but that could be a matter of different kitchen acoustics. All in all, it’s no louder than other machines I’ve heard. It’s easy to clean. The water canister is a bit fiddly to fill and set but I solved that annoyance by bringing the water to the canister. Much easier.Although I can’t speak to longevity, no issues thus far and I consider it a good bargain.

If you’re hoping to make fancy coffee drinks like cappuccino or latte, look for something else. I just wanted espresso, and this is perfect for me at a fraction of the cost of other machines. It was easy to set up, it’s easy to clean, and it works great. I noticed that some customers were complaining about how noisy it is, I didn’t think it was too noisy–have they ever heard what a professional machine sounds like in a coffee shop?Anyway, low cost, easy to use, makes espresso that tastes like espresso. Perfect for my needs.

Love the size, we can put our two coffee makers next to each other without problem. Love the simplicity, and even more the way the used pod drops inside and can be collected later and rinse without much ado. It does make a lot of noise (which announces that you are going to have a great bit of coffee), but stops almost immediately for your espresso. Did we say we love it?

Good alternative to the Nespresso, only bad thing is that the ratio of water used in each espresso is much less than the original brand. Which makes the coffee less amount and stronger which can lead to a more bitter taste.

I have had several espresso machines that use ground coffee and would always get frustrated at the process. This machine is fantastic for what I want. A simple easy way to pull a shot of espresso with no mess to clean up. It is not a high dollar machine obviously but it works great for me. Very happy with it.

We recently stayed in a hotel that provided nespresso in the room rather than just standard coffee. My husband turned into an espresso monster and after coming home all he wanted was an espresso machine. I didn’t want to go expensive because I wasn’t sure if it was just a passing phase or if he was going to stick to this new passion. This machine is a perfect balance between quality and price. I remember a lot of reviews stating how loud it was, and honestly, it really isn’t that bad. Maybe if you live in a studio or small apartment without separation between rooms the noise would be worse, but I’ve never noticed it in the mornings and hardly during the evenings. When it comes to the flavor production of the unit, we aren’t in tune enough with espresso and what makes it good versus bad to judge the unit on that. Overall the espresso comes out tasting great and strong. My husband’s only critiques are that the empty pod reservoir is small and needs to be dumped frequently and that there needs to be a low water indicator on the unit so a pod doesn’t get wasted when there isn’t enough and he forgets to check.

It is a great espresso makerIt is a great espresso maker for it being cheap I have used a lot of espresso maker and so far this is one of the best machines I have used the other better one I have used is at my work and it is a $10,000 machines so it should be better then a machines at $140 the only downside I have seen it is maker some noise when make a espresso but my espresso maker at work makes noise to so it is a great espresso maker if you want a good cup of espresso for cheap

great espresso machine!This is a great product! I love being able to brew a tasty espresso with a rich crema every morning! It brews much better than a nespresso pixie machine! It uses all the types of capsules as long as they are compatible with the Nespresso original machines.
