Easy to use, and I really like the detailed and helpful instructions. It’s friendly to the new user who don’t know how to make a cup of coffee. It doesn’t need large space that’s why I like it. This is my first coffee, although it seems to be a failure, lol anyway I am enjoying it.

I bought this for my husband and this becomes his new toy. It can make espresso in seconds and cannot tell a difference from Starbucks. Keurig machine has been abandoned. Lol

The expresso machine makes a great cup of expresso every time. It’s constantly great. The only complaint I have is the water collection take leaks. Not sure if I got one with a faulty seal, but it leaks, so therefore I can’t store water in it and have to use it immediately. On most products it might be a deal breaker, but this machine performs perfectly otherwise. I would still recommend this.

I have to admit- I’m not a barista by any stretch of the imagination. We do have a coffee machine and I do use it. And I know how to use a Keurig. That’s about the extent of things. But, I’ve always wanted to learn how to make a little fancier coffee drinks at home. I sometimes watch YouTube videos and get inspired by the cool drinks and artwork.I received this item and was SHOCKED about how heavy it is. It was packaged nice and snuggly- which means that it also arrived without getting damaged. It comes with a scoop with a tamper on the end and two different sizes of filters for one shot or two shots.The only drawback that I found is that the buttons seem to have some of the silver kind of flaking off.The water reservoir holds a ton of water. I used distilled water, not only to not change the flavor of the espresso, but to make sure my machine lasts longer. I have quite hard water at my house. It took just a little while to get the machine all prepped up to go. It gets quite violent, which I wasn’t expecting at first. It was also a little difficult to get the filter holder to lock into place, but I got it after a bit.The milk steamer worked great too, and was pretty easy to clean. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. I also looked up a couple of videos for tricks and tips. My cappuccino turned out GREAT for my first try. Now I can experiment with all different types of drinks. Can’t wait!This is a great machine for the price. A $150 price point is actually quite good for something that works as well as this! It’s a little violent and loud, but that just means it’s getting the water through your grounds all the better!Would order again- especially at the price point it’s at.

Have been wanting to get back into home brewed espresso for a while. The little ILAVIE machine makes a great cup of coffee. I’m using Starbucks Espresso blend which is likely a little too fine for true espresso, but it tastes great just the same. The milk steamer takes a little while to heat, but not excessively so.It powers up fast, is easy to load up, brew, and clean. It’s probably the quickest way you can make a cup of coffee. Not sure the exact pressure, but with the supposed 20Bar, it produces a really nice crema.The only negative I could give would be that due to its diminutive size and weight, it’s not too stable on the countertop, so when tightening or removing the coffee handle, you have to hold the machine at the same time. I can’t really fault too much for this though, and certainly not worth deducting from a 5 star review.Definitely a ‘recommended’ purchase!

I’ll admit I thought a barista was kind of a glorified waitress but this machine has changed my opinion! I have a better understanding of the $8 price tag in these drinks after trying out this machine!Don’t get me wrong, it’s not hard to operate, but so much to remember and experience is the key to success with my macchiattos!I had priced machines in the past when prices went up so drastically and most are far more expensive. I had low expectations at this price but am happy to say that aside from the learning curve I have had zero issues with this machine! I do think a better tamper is a good idea (this one is plastic) and I had to get some tiny cups, but I really love using this machine & learning to make my own drinks!

This espresso machine is absolutely awesome! It is very thin so it fits on my coffee bar perfectly and it is stainless steel, so it is easy to clean. It can make two shots of espresso or one and it comes with a milk steamer on the side. It took a few attempts to do things correct but I really am enjoying this. The plastic tamper works but I am getting a better one. Also trying to fill the grounds has been messy but I think it’s my inexperience. I have used a wisk style frother but this steam one is way better. I didn’t know this at 1st but the top warms up to get your cups warm. The water tank is able to make quite a few espressos, I have made three double espressos with using the steamer and it’s still 2/3 full. Very happy with this and will be recommending it to my friends.
