Good little machine to make espressos with im still trying to learn how to work it as I am not used to it but it’s coming along. You definitely will need a new tamper as the one provided is flimsy and broke in me causing me to get a cut on my hand.

Love the ease of machine but the espresso does not stay hot even though it says 198 degrees. Within in 5 min or less it’s Luke warm.

Coffee is extracted at only 130% Fahrenheit, with tank water at room temperature, far from the advertised 198% F as indicated in the item description!!!Though it should be stated that the machine can provide hot water at 170%F, which seems to indicate that there maybe a temperature calibration issue on the extraction side of things, or the manufacture misreporting the actual functionality of the machine. Either way it is disappointing, and not what I expected!!!What also proves to be interesting is that every time the machine is turned on in the morning, the temperature being reported is automatically 198%F… not 199%F or 197%F and so on. The likelihood of that seems statistically improbable, albeit not knowing the actual design of the reporting thermal sensor and the uncertainty rate of error. You decide! The hot water coming out of my kitchen faucet is warmer than what this machine is producing.Thank you for taking the time to consider this review, which I hope helps you to become better informed!!!

We love our espresso machine and use it weekly! I love a fresh latte on the weekends when I have time to spend making one without worrying about running kids to school! This machine helps make my latte dreams come true quick and easy! It has a frother and great instructions for someone who has never owned an espresso machine before! I love that it came with a scoop/tamper multi tool so I didn’t have to buy them separately! You will need short cups with this machine (I have a couple small enough to run it on couple and make 2 at a time). The double espresso feature is really nice so I can make one for my husband too!

I haven’t had the chance to use it but I love it. It’s small so it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. The shipping was super fast and easy.

This espresso machine is very easy to use and heats up quickly. From the time it’s powered on it takes just 30s for the machine to heat up and be ready to use. The porta-filter twist locks in just like in most machines, and has attachments for either 1 shot or 2 shots. While this is a “20 bar” machine, remember that you want 9 bars of pressure for a good cup of espresso. My machine starts spitting espresso out at 4 bars and then climbs to 8 bars, but it stays there. My espressos have only had small layers of crema on top, and I think it’s because the machine isn’t quite hitting 9 bars. The water tank is removable, which is nice for refilling it. Remember to remove the orange stopper from the bottom before using the machine for the first time to let water flow. The tank is a good size and the machine can make several cups before needing to be refilled. The drip tray cover is removable as well making it easy to clean. I love the stainless steel look of the machine, however on the left side there are like product features displayed permanently on the machine. This isn’t a big deal, but I’m not sure why they are physically labeled on the front of the machine, it makes it look weird.Edit: I am able to hit 9 bars depending on how much coffee grinds I pack into the portafilter. I’ve found that about 8-10 grams is a good amount, anything lower can’t get above 8 bars and anything more goes over 12 bars. Unfortunately this does not line up with the scooper/tamper they provide, so you are just going to have to weigh it. While I was able to hit 9 bars after all, I still didn’t see much increase in crema formation compared to other machines I have seen.

As a coffee enthusiast, I couldn’t be happier with my HOMOKUS Espresso Machine. I’ve been waiting for a suitable model to have at home, and I’m so glad I have this espresso machine in my house. This espresso maker offers a perfect balance of quality performance and affordability, making it an ideal choice for any aspiring home barista. The sleek and stylish design, coupled with top-notch craftsmanship, ensures that this espresso machine is visually appealing and built to last. The taste of the espressos produced by this machine is quite fantastic. Each cup is rich, smooth, and flavorful, leaving me thoroughly impressed and eager for the next. I’ve compared my espressos to other coffee shops over the past few days and am completely hooked on making my espressos. The best part is that it’s not $4 each time I want to drink an espresso. The best part is that I can make it in the comfort of my home. There is a bit of a learning curve when first learning how to make espressos, but the instructions that came with the machine are decent, and I was able to supplement them with searching online as well. One thing, instructions say that there should be 15-16g of espresso for a double shot of espresso, but the maximum I have been able to get into there is 13.5g. It still comes out perfectly though!Pro’s – Well-built, easy to learn, quick startup time, incredible steaming power, excellent stainless steel that’s easy to clean.Con’s – The tamper included with the machine is plastic. It worked for the first few days, but I quickly ordered a metal tamper. The tamper size is 51mm.If you want to elevate your at-home coffee experience, try the HOMOKUS Espresso Machine. You won’t be disappointed.
