I recently ordered this really nice CASABREWS brand Espresso Machine for our son who’s going into his junior year in college. This machine will make going out for expensive coffee a thing of the past for the coffee drinkers in their house. They’ll be able to make espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and flat whites right from the comfort of their own kitchen.This machine makes espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos. It also makes something called a “flat white.” Apparently, a flat white is similar to a latte but with a stronger coffee flavor with less milk and less milk foam. My husband loves really strong coffee drinks, so I’m sure he’d love these!This machine is very easy to operate and comes with an easy to understand instruction manual. It has a milk frother and a steam wand. A milk frother wisks air into the milk or cream without using much heat. The steamer, on the other hand, uses heat and pressure to add tiny bubbles to the milk or cream.It also has a 50 oz water tank, so they won’t have to constantly refill the tank.This espresso machine is really lightweight, weighing in at just over 3 pounds, so its also portable. It’s a professional grade espresso maker, andat just under $90, it’s a great value! This machine has the capability of brewing two cups at a time which is a great feature. It also comes complete with a scoop and tamper. Another really nice feature is that this machine can preheat their cups. On cold autumn and winter mornings that will be a feature anyone would appreciate!To customize their morning beverages, this espresso maker comes equipped with an authentic Italian pressure pump to customize the strength of their espresso. I’m more of a latte girl myself, and I’m not as familiar with espresso. This professional grade machine is capable of making up to 20 bar espresso. The bar number is the pressure that the machine can generate as it forces hot water through the coffee beans. The average espresso is a 9 bar. But anything from a 7 bar to 11 bar seems to be pretty much the norm. 20 bar would be for those like my husband who like their espresso as strong as it comes.I love the smell of coffee even more than I like drinking it. And, after trying this espresso maker in our home, the aroma that comes from using it is out of this world! If you love the smell of coffee first thing in the morning, you’ll absolutely love having this espresso maker!This espresso, cappuccino, and latte maker is a great gift for any occasion, and for any adult who enjoys coffee, cappuccinos, espresso, and lattes. The CASABREWS Espresso Machine is simple and very basic espresso machine that does work, but it has some flaws. The machine has just the basics and nothing else. You let the water heat up, push a switch to start the brewing process, and push the switch again to stop the process. For the most part the results are good. My main issue is that the shots do not come out hot enough for my tastes. You could call them hot, but barely. The other minor issue is that the so-called cup warmer does nothing. It’s barely warm to the touch and useless. I don’t use the steam wand but I tested it and it works as it should. Overall I’m satisfied with this machine. At this price point it would be hard to find a less expensive 20 bar espresso machine. I’ll give it 4 Stars for value for the price.Edit: In regards to the temperature not being hot enough, I think I found that the solution is to ignore the “Temp Ready” light when it comes on and wait a few more minutes. My last couple of shot made after te machine has been on awhile seem to be nice and hot.

Wanted a machine that wouldn’t take up too much counter space and this one was small enough.Took some experimenting, but after figuring out the grind (don’t go too fine) it works pretty well. Same with the steam wand.The tamper is really cheap and didn’t fit in the filter ideally – we had another that works better.The lights do not seem to indicate the heat with much accuracy – we’ve found just waiting 15 minutes and ignoring the lights works fine.Seems like a good machine for under $100.

For what it is, this is a decent machine but I’d really set your expectations accordingly. It does feel cheap and I do feel like it drips a lot after the fact when you run it, but for a casual espresso drinker who just wants a little treat a few times a week, this would do just fine.

Only used it for a week, so far it works. Hope it last longer than other brands..PROs1. Espresso Machine – Dual or Single Cup2. Heat up pretty fast3. Large water container to hold to avoid constantly refilling.4. Good handle, not light and cheap feeling like other brands.5. Small yet does take double the counter space than the Nespresso pixie.6. Quiet not super loud.. much more quiet than my Nespresso.CONS1. Strange heating element – 3 buttons to select and side knob to adjust. Temp lights go on/off.2. No one button to just make an espresso w/ same setting each day, requires total interaction.3. Wish it would be slightly hotter.

Makes a good espresso, however, this is a very basic and almost manual machine. Settings are not standard, and one must set each time. It has a nice sized water tank, so it holds quite a bit and is very easy to carry if removed to fill. I use my tea pot to fill for ease. If left on for a while, the output of espresso seems to be a bit hotter than when first turned on. Overall, this is an ok espresso basic twenty bar machine for those looking for value over the pro versions.
