I’ve had quite a few machines, this one is excellent for the price!

I used it for a few weeks before reviewing. So far I’m quite impressed with this machine. It was a little awkward figuring it out, as there wasn’t much for instructions. But it’s not rocket science. I suspect a lot of the reviews complaining about leaking or steaming when it’s not supposed to are probably user error. It has knobs and switches that have to be in the right position depending on what you’re trying to do at that time. I consider myself an amateur barista, I love espresso, and espresso based drinks. I dabble in roasting coffee beans and make designs on the tops of the drinks. I replaced a MR. coffee machine that I had for 20 years . This machine was a few dollars more than another Mr. Coffee, but it makes much better drinks. You get a much better froth, & it foams milk nicely. I think even the flavor is better. It may not last as long as the simpler machine since it has more moving parts, but the drink quality is better, it’s as good or better than you get from a coffee shop. If I feel it didn’t last as long as it should have, I’ll update the star rating. Giving it 5 stars.

I wanted to buy an expresso machine and have been shopping for months! This one was 1 out of 2 of my choices. I was hesitant because some of the reviews said it was cheaply made, which is pretty true, but it’s great for the price!!! I spend $7 for my favorite iced latte and I knew I wanted to save money, so I bought this. I’m my third iced latte in, and this one is by far my best, taste identical to my favorite cafes lattes! I will give you some tips for success, get a coffee/expresso bean blender, that definitely makes a difference if your beans are not blended well enough! My only complaint found with this machine is the milk frother wand is weird idk if it even works? Or I just don’t know how to use it, but I prefer to make my own cold foam, so I won’t ding that for my review. Super easy little machine, I highly recommend if you’re looking to save money and make delicious lattes at home!!

For a first espresso machine, I do love this! I’ve had issues with the temperatures as well, and would like to get a better one eventually but this one is good enough

The machine was good for the price, I got it on sale for $99 or $150. It’s slower then the one at work and my experience is the same as other folks that it just doesn’t get quiet hot enough. You can slam it right away, so that’s nice but if you want to take a piping hot cup on your way to work etc, it starts off warm and declines from there so you will have to microwave it……… I personally would roll the dice on another unit. Otherwise, this one looks good and works ok.

I’ve been wanting to buy an espresso machine for a while now, especially since prices have started to continuously rise at Starbucks. I was afraid to do much more then take it out of the box and after a few days I wanted coffee and decided to jump in. I followed the simple instructions that were included in the box and was kind of disappointed with my first cup. Then I re-read the instructions and figured out my mistake and made a second cup. I’m only 5 cups in so far but I think with more practice I’ll get more confidant with it. It’s not a super fancy machine which is what I was looking for. It’s perfect for a beginner that used to work at Starbucks 10 years ago. I’m excited to continue using it and learning new things. I didn’t have any issues with leaking like I’d seen others comment about. Were just beginning the journey with our new espresso machine but so far for my needs it’s perfect. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to update this.

Was not advertised as used but received it dirty. Had hard caramelized milk on the frothing wand and a substantial amount of coffee residual in the portafilter.After cleaning it, I can’t complain bout how it works. Espresso looks and tastes great, the frothing wand works even better than my previous model!

It was nice while it lasted. I noticed after a while the milk frother/steamer wasn’t thickening the milk as it did the first time. Also the coffee wasn’t as strong. After a couple of months, it stopped working. Well, today it stopped working. It just started leaking water from underneath and from the coffee spout when I tried to brew.
