It’s a pretty decent espresso machine for the budget or space conscious. It’s pretty standard as far as operation goes. Little slow, but expected for the size and price. Also not as powerful as professional ones, but again, that’s to be expected. What you probably want to know is is it worth the price and can it make a serviceable cup of espresso and the answer is yes. You won’t get as dense and finely bubbled of a crema, but enough of one. I’d use this over something like a moka pot any day. The controls for the frother is odd and I think off, but honestly these style ones are kind of lacking on most home espresso machines. I’m just using a separate usb chargeable frothing cup that heats and froths milk separately. I find it to do a better job. The actual making of the espresso is the important part and this does that pretty well for a small home machine. Worth the price in my opinion.

I got this espresso machine to see how it would compare to the starbucks espresso machine I have had since the year 2000. Overall, the espresso machine produces a quality cup of espresso. As with any espresso maker, the espresso can only be as good as the coffee you put in it. That being said, the machine produces a good cup with a nice layer of crema. The box comes with the machine, a scoop and tamper, portafilter, and two different sized cups to put into the portafilter depending on if you’re brewing a single or double shot. The machine heats up relatively quickly with my only complaint being that the steam wand/steam seems to take significantly longer to heat up. If you’re brewing a couple shots a day this machine will do just fine, the water tank is quite small and needs to be filled every 5-6 shots or so, but an understandable sacrifice to maintain the sleek appearance. Unsure if it will survive 23 years like my last one, but is definitely a quality machine that seems like it will last a good while.

Once I learned it was best to operate by brewing the espresso first, steam the milk second, it’s been working fine. I find that steaming milk takes far longer than the 15 seconds the instructions recommended, but, it’s a nice addition to my kitchen and has already saved me from a run or two to a nearby shop based out of Seattle.

Wonderful espresso machine. We used one at the bnb we stayed at and found it so easy to use we bought one for ourselves. Makes an amazing cup of coffee. Very easy to use, clean and maintain. I feel it would make a great house warming gift as well.

Beautiful espresso machine, warms up the rack quickly, easy to fill and clean. The button settings seems a bit finicky. So far I can only to get it working if you use the steamer, which works great as well. But if you want just espresso without the steamer I can not get it to work. Overall a great little experience!

This is the first espresso machine that I’ve seen that actually looks GOOD in the kitchen! The matte blue color is absolutely beautiful and the espresso it makes is divine!Since I’ve always been a Starbucks drinker, I tried it with their Decaf Espresso Roast, and it tastes far better than my Nespresso ever did with the pods of the same variety.The machine is intuitive to operate and easy to clean afterward. I’ve owned several other machines over the years, from a Jura-Capresso to Verismo to Nespresso, and this is my favorite so far! While not as convenient as popping in a pod, the taste is worth the added few minutes!
